INTERIOR DÉCOR: EYE-CATCHING DECORATIVE OBJECTS

As a designer, I spend much time in architectural structures, transforming their respective areas to make them personal, functional, authentic, and aesthetically appealing to the occupants. And boy, I love and enjoy my chosen profession, and I would not trade it for anything. My passion continually soars to new heights daily because spending time in and out of different spaces to transform them with various styles is what I live for, and it keeps me in my happy place. And I must mention, even though I live for it, whatever I do along my journey as a designer or in my life will never come before God, the most outstanding and extraordinary designer ever and who created everything.

My job is to create amazingly stylish and functional interiors and incorporate design elements and principles. As a designer, should I do the same for my house? Should I source the best for my home? Do I need to add all those extra details, such as intricate, ornate, elaborate, and statement-making, to create the character, style, and appeal, along with those must-needed and subtle wow factors? Heck, yes, and I get the opportunity to break all the outdated design rules.

My interior surroundings are an absolute identical reflection of who I am, and when I sign off on a design project that I am working on within that space, it is 110% as when I complete a design project for a client.

I admire beautiful things, but the not-so-beautiful objects tend to be even more intriguing.

With that said, there are certain items I make sure to incorporate before the styling of a room is complete, and that is to integrate eye-catching décor. I seek objects that add more than character, style, and appeal. When I travel internationally, I find those unique pieces. Ordinary décor can sometimes become a bit boring. Therefore, I added items that provoked a long-fixed stare and made people wonder where the décor originated, and this is valid for number two (African sculpture).

NOTATION: I purchased numbers 1 and 2 while vacationing in South Africa. Also, number 7 was purchased while vacationing in Italy.
