‘TIS THE SEASON: DRESS FORM CHRISTMAS TREE
/Can you believe that I am posting on a Saturday? It is Christmas, and everyone spends time with their family and friends. How dare I do such a thing? I know, and I get it, but I had to post for the holidays. I have been crazy swamped, and besides, just in case you need a quick read over the holiday weekend, I've got you covered. All you need now is a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows or tea with a hint of honey.
So, are you ready? This year, I styled another girlie Christmas Tree, which was amazingly beautiful. Yes, I am blushing. It is classy, elegant, and statement-making and has taken center stage in my living room as the focal point.
While brainstorming for a color scheme earlier this year, I knew it would be subtle but still contrast with one dominant color. The colors that I decided on are blue-green, teal, and gold. It is simple but aesthetically pleasing. The sweater is teal, and the scarf has hints of teal and pink. The bottom part of the tree (which represents the skirt) gives way to gold accents.
Many gifts are wrapped with themes of gold stripes and snowflakes, while a hue of blue is for the others. It became more about simplicity and finding beauty in the most minor and limited way. As I walk by or in my living room, I see the straightforward style for this beautiful holiday season, giving way to a warm, cozy, and Christmassy atmosphere.
Until next year, smile daily, be grateful, give thanks, stay content, and love unconditionally. And make sure to incorporate abundant joy, comfort, and peace.
