DETAILED DECOR: STATEMENT-MAKING DECORATIVE VASES
/Well, hi there, and happy Monday!
As a designer, I love asking questions. So, what decorative object, besides artwork, would you use for a quick and easy fill-in to complete or enhance a room? Especially when there is a need for something simple and would be more than enough to help fill a small void. I am leaving out artwork because nothing can stand against the dominance of art. However, I know many decorative pieces would be a great answer, but what is the first one that comes to mind? I am obsessed with vases. They can completely change a room's appearance depending on the overall size. For instance, I have incorporated enormous vases, which tend to become a room's focal point. It is impressive because regardless of what space I enter, my eyes land on them before anything. (Except for a massive chandelier and extreme artwork).
I also add them sparingly when there is a need for more color, especially with a neutral color palette. Remember, color is a fantastic asset in an interior space.
Moreover, when dealing with décor, incorporating objects that make you feel good is the most critical aspect. It creates character, appeal, style, and an ever-lasting enhancement throughout the space.
I often use vases when discussing the elements and principles of design. Implementing these beauties can create aesthetic appeal, types of symmetry, or balance; a vase(s) will do the trick.
Remember, regardless of what decorative pieces are in a space, they should complement everything in the room, and the atmosphere should have a sense of completion.
