KIMBERLY'S STYLE: DETAILED DRESS FORM CHRISTMAS TREE
/Christmas came quickly. It feels as if I blinked, and BAM, it is here. Every year, I do a live Christmas tree for its natural beauty, fantastic smell, and unique outdoor vibe within an indoor atmosphere. However, I still have a live one this year, but I decided to make it more Kimberly's Style. I have always wanted to do a girly Christmas Tree. So, finally, I did. It was tedious, but I knew the outcome would be worth every minute. My first one looks incredible, and I am beyond pleased. I love how the blue gives a dominant contrast against the red and gold. It is the perfect accent color.
Sometimes, it is about incorporating simple details but implementing oversized objects to make an impressive statement. However, too much stuff can become junky and overbearing when it comes to anything.
With that said, I had much fun switching up my style and decorative objects. I didn't expect the change to happen this year, but it did, and I am delighted at how everything turned out. Regarding the desired color palette, red is in place because it is my favorite color. I used yellow (gold), my second favorite color, and the addition of blue to create a contrast. I chose gold poinsettias, blue butterflies, and decorative glass balls wrapped with fabric. Also, I decided on peacock feathers and squiggly twigs to create a look of simplicity. The wrapping paper patterns are gold and red plaid variations, giving way to a subtle wow factor. Overall, I achieved what I set out to do, and I am happy.
Next year, a YouTube video will be available soon if you want to achieve this look!
