SWEET ACCENTS: CANDYLAND CHRISTMAS
/Today is officially Christmas, and the holiday vibe in the atmosphere is exciting and magical. December is one of those months when everything has a time limit; every moment seems extremely busy, and there is always something to do, whether working on a personal or client design project or somewhere festive to go, especially regarding gatherings. However, before the holiday season, I had already decided on the theme I would incorporate throughout my house. I made sure to order every detailed piece I needed to have ready when I started styling my interior space for the holiday. Moreover, after completion, I had to stand back and smile because it was adorable.
So, this year, I decided to take a memory from my childhood and do something sweet and magical. Yes, I have beautiful memories from my childhood, which helped create my theme this year.
It comes from my favorite childhood game, Candyland, which became the foundation for my inspiration. It turned out to be beyond beautiful. The color palette above shows a few colors that beautifully weave everything together.
It is all about the sweet details, from oversized candy canes to glittery, colorful gummy bears, gigantic lollipops, and the must-have addition of the gingerbread man.
The color palette has pink, blue, green, purple, yellow, and bold red, which creates an intriguing contrast. The dominant addition is the six-foot-tall nutcracker dressed in alluring colors that complement the already flowing color palette.
